Welcome To Salisbury Lodges Website

Salisbury Lodges  a mountain wilderness Retreat. Located on the Southern slopes of the Barrington’s, with its unique boundaries to the William River and the Closest Accommodation to World Heritage listed rain forest. Salisbury Lodges and Araluen Licensed Restaurant - “A Wilderness Retreat with a difference”.

Few people in this world get the chance to live in natures wilderness. But for the few who take time out to explore or even just to absorb the breathtaking rain forest, fresh mountain air feel very privileged and refreshed to have done so.

The pure indulgence of doing exactly what you want to do when you want to do it. Whether it be a walk through the natural rain forest, taking in the magnificent views of the mountains or swimming in the streams or rivers, observing the wildlife, trekking, horse riding or doing absolutely nothing in the peace and quiet of the blue gums or simply relax, feed a Rosella on your own balcony and be at peace with the surrounds. Starting or completing your day with a hearty country breakfast and finish the day with a candle light dinner in Araluen Restaurant overlooking the lake and rain forest.
